The need for the bottle was realized from the spoilage issues of powder to liquid drinks that are consumed by adults every day. The moment most powder to liquid drinks are mixed and subjected to air, they begin to lose vitamins, taste and effectiveness. Before Umix, the only options to prevent spoilage was to carry bottles in ice chests to reduce the time of spoilage or carry the bulky ingredients in separate containers in a crowded gym bag and measure and mix to drink immediately.
Umix realized that it is difficult to travel with powder to liquid drinks with these constraints so the need for a bottle that can safely store powdered ingredients and liquid separately in the same bottle was real. Imagine the benefit from preparing bottles ahead for a workout and not worry about spoilage or proper preparation - just straighten to mix and drink when ready. The product was immediately accepted and Umix manufactured and distributed to directly to retail outlets. Umix began to build other product lines and decided to establish partnerships for distribution.
